At just over 7,000sqm, Ta’ Dbieġi Artisan Village is one of the smallest estates administered by INDIS Malta. It is one of two estates found in Gozo, which is the second largest island of the Maltese archipelago in terms of size and population. This village is a dedicated space from where artisans specializing in local crafts can produce their own goods and sell them directly to visitors, with the latter having the opportunity to watch the artisans as they work on their crafts, which among others include lace, silver filigree, pottery, glass-blowing and iron works.
The artisan village is located on the outskirts of San Lawrenz village, close to touristic attractions such as the Ta’ Pinu Basilica in Għarb, as well as Fungus Rock and the Inland Sea at Dwejra.
INDIS Malta has assisted the Civil Protection Department (CPD) to procure two water bowsers having a capacity of 42,000 litres each, complete with pumps and one mechanical horse to pull….
