Located between San Ġwann and Birkirkara, the San Ġwann Industrial Estate covers a total area of around 270,000sqm and is the base for a number of companies involved in a myriad of sectors, from food and beverages to clothing and ICT-related activities. The industrial estate is also home to the Malta Life Sciences Park, a research centre within the life sciences and other related knowledge-intensive industries located within walking distance from Malta’s major Mater Dei Hospital, the Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Hospital, and the University of Malta.
