Kirkop Industrial Estate

The Kirkop Industrial Estate is one of the smallest within the portfolio managed by INDIS Malta, housing only a handful of companies. Yet, its importance is nonetheless significant, as these companies include a manufacturer of electronic components that consistently ranks among Malta’s top exporters in terms of value.

Located on the sides of the Malta International Airport (MIA), Kirkop is nowadays a small village. However, the area has been inhabited since pre-history, and a large number of punic remains including tombs and catacombs scattered around the village are testimony to its rich history.
