Endorsement of drawings for Planning Authority Application
When applying for a Development Notification Order (DNO) under Class 16 of S.L.552.08 on any INDIS allocated space, we are here to help.
INDIS Malta Ltd. will provide guidance to facilitate the process and the Endorsement of the drawings before the Planning Authority application.
The process is initiated by sending drawings in PDF and CAD format with the plot number clearly indicated in the subject. Emails are to be sent to [email protected].
It is important to note that the drawings must include:
Use Class as per DNO document being shown on all drawings provided.
Overall dimensions (including the highest level of structure from the highest road level).
Materials being proposed listed on the proposed elevations.
North sign clearly marked.
Tenants applying for a DNO must have:
Valid Lease/ Emphyteusis Title
No arrears
Adequate Insurance Cover
No Breaches with the Company
Once any changes or clarifications requested are addressed, an electronic endorsement in principle is sent.
At this point, all the necessary clearances which are required for the application might be obtained.
Once these clearances are obtained, copies of the latest drawings together with all reports are to be forwarded electronically to INDIS Malta Ltd. at [email protected].
Once copies are in hand and re-evaluated, the official endorsement is forwarded. This process will be carried out electronically.
The tenant is to be listed as the applicant on the Planning Authority application, and a notification to the owner addressed to the Chief Technical Officer is to be sent via registered mail.
Planning Authority in due course will ask for a no-objection letter from INDIS Malta Ltd. as the landowner for which the following information is required:
DNO number
Applicant’s name
Description of works
With the Planning Authority permit in hand, INDIS Malta Ltd. needs to be notified so that the setting out of the plot in question can take place. This notification can be done using the appropriate setting-out form.
