Luqa Industrial Estate

Located next to the Malta International Airport, this estate comprises almost 100,000sqm of industrial space occupied mostly by SMEs and micro enterprises operating in different sectors, including engineering and mechanical services, furniture, metal fabrications, and printing.

About Luqa:

The village of Luqa took prominence in the early 20th century when the British Royal Air Force established a base with runways in the locality. This facility was later transformed into a civilian airport, and subsequently, a more modern terminal, the Malta International Airport (MIA), was built on the outskirts of the neighbouring village of Gudja. Nowadays, the MIA, which is connected to the major airports in the region via regular scheduled flights, consistently ranks among the best airports worldwide for facilities of its size.
