Bulebel industrial estate marks 50th anniversary

INDIS Malta will be investing over €5 million euro to upgrade the road network within the Bulebel industrial estate, which it will also be embellishing through the development of an open space that will also serve as a recreational area for workers of the nearby facilities.

The announcements were made by the Hon. Minister for the Economy and Industry Silvio Schembri during an event marking the 50th anniversary since the inauguration of the Bulebel industrial estate.

The event was also presided by INDIS Malta chairperson Dr Jean Pierre Attard, Bulebel Industrial Estate Tenants’ Association (BIETA) chairperson Brian Muscat, as well as Andy Gatesy, chairperson and CEO of Toly Products – which was the first company to set up in Bulebel.

The investment on the road network forms part of INDIS Malta’s €470 million infrastructural investment programme, and will serve to provide better access to the facilities within the industrial estate, and enable a more efficient use of the industrial space available.

Conscious of the importance that the environment plays in our lives and that industrial development can also be done sustainably, INDIS Malta will also be creating a new open space for the benefit of all those that make use of the industrial estate.
