HFMFA to move to new site

INDIS Malta has signed an agreement with the Lands Authority, SportMalta, and the Hal Far Model Flying Association (HFMFA), by means of which the HFMFA would relocate from its current location in a central area within the Ħal Far Industrial Estate, to an alternative site on the outskirts of the same estate.

Subject to all necessary permits being obtained, this move will release a 12,000sqm area that lies in close proximity to other industrial sites and would thus be ideal for similar purposes, whilst at the same time the HFMFA would be using a site that would not pose the same challenges as those it had been facing in recent years due to the manner in which the surrounding area was developing.

The agreement was signed in the presence of the Hon. Ministry for the Economy and Industry Silvio Schembri, and the Hon. Minister for Education and Sport Clifton Grima.
