Artisans who have already invested in their property within the Ta’ Qali Artisan Village will be given a two-year waiver on ground rent, while the rent payable for the following eight years will be rescheduled to be paid as from the 11th year to the 18th.
The new support measure provided by INDIS Malta was announced by the Hon. Minister for the Economy and Industry Silvio Schembri during a visit to the Ta’ Qali Artisan Village.
It follows other support measures that assisted those artisans who encountered difficulties in developing their properties on their own, and within this context the new assistance is aimed at ensuring that all artisans are treated equally.
